I am a twenty-three year old musician from Kent, England. 

I first started songwriting at age eleven in order to make sense of the world and my place in it. I have struggled with mental illness for as long as I can remember, and music has given me an outlet for those intense, explosive emotions.

My influences are varied! I write songs based on historical figures, fictional characters, paintings, people I know, and my own life experience. My songs are rarely in my own ‘voice’. My favourite musical artists are Florence + the Machine, Bat for Lashes, Oh Land, Lana Del Rey, Marina and the Diamonds, Laura Marling, Katie Melua, Joanna Newsom, and Kate Bush.  

I am currently working on my first album: Mother Maiden Crone, which I hope will be released in 2018.
